  1. As part of your TOEFL or IELTS preparation you need to increase the time you spend reading. Choose topics of your interest and READ A LOT! Don't get frustrated if you can't understand every word or detail while you read.

    1-Read for pleasure
    2-Read make quick summaries of what you could understand
    3-Tell your instructor about something new you learnt while reading
    4-It's not a bad idea to keep a journal - just a simple notepad- where you can keep records of your readings
